Establish a weekly exercise regimen (walk, run, swim, laugh, play)
Meet with Christian counselor
Consult and fellowship with host pastoral couple (once a week)
Week 3 — Theme: Reflect
Discuss your emotions, personal longings, and needs of your spouse and family
Listen to the Holy Spirit and re-align with God’s purposes for you, your family, and your ministry
Consult and fellowship with host pastoral couple (once a week)
Week 4 — Theme: Re-engage
Give yourself permission to dream again (personally and professionally)
Set goals that are within reach
Make a personal vision statement
Consult and fellowship with host pastoral couple (once a week)
Schedule a debriefing with staff and church leaders a few days before returning home
